Here's what some of our clients have to say...

"I've worked with Jim Ecklund and Ecklund Excavation for close to ten years.  His company has done all of our custom home site excavations and utility installations.   I can depend on Jim and his crews to show up on time, work hard until the job is complete, and follow up to make sure we've been taken care of.   Jim and his crews also relate well to our clients.  He and his crews take care in keeping the work site clean and take a lot of care in keeping their equipment clean.  I highly recommend Jim Ecklund and Ecklund Excavation.  It's truly been a pleasure to work with such a professional group of people."

"I’m very happy to have the opportunity to provide my endorsement of Jim Ecklund and Ecklund Excavation and Development.

Jim jumped in during a very urgent and stressful situation with our access road and driveway, which had been washed away during the December 2007 storm. He was able to take charge of the situation, provide the most efficient and cost-effective solution, and perform a repair that was truly awe inspiring.
I was especially impressed, and appreciative of Jim’s cool, yet assured approach to the situation. He’s attentive to the customer’s questions and concerns, and very communicative and reassuring in his approach to customer service.
I have since enlisted Jim’s services and expertise in a couple other projects, which he has diligently taken on with the same kind of professionalism.
He’s one of the easiest professionals I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with, and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking such services.
Thank you."

"I have known the Ecklunds for several years and can attest to their integrity and fairness.  Ecklund Excavation recently did several days of work for us, hauling rock and mounding it with a track hoe. Their work was done on schedule, accurately and professionally . Charges were very competitive.  We were very satisfied and would use them again!"

Jim's experience includes general contracting, land clearing, levee work, road building, site preparation, water main installation and repair, sewer and septic installation, demolition, rockery installation, landscaping, grading and more.  Jim has never found a job that was too challenging for him.  He simply figures out a way to complete the task and does it right.

Before founding Ecklund Excavation & Development, Inc. in 2002, Jim managed his parent's business Ecklund Excavating.  He was able to grow their business from a one-man operation into a corporation of several employees and double digit growth yearly.  He did this by creating a strong network of long lasting business contacts and his commitment to quality workmanship.  As Owner and President of Ecklund Excavation & Development, Inc.,  Jim believes in exceeding the expectations of his customers.  This commitment to quality and customer satisfaction has created a strong, solid business that is able to withstand the ups and downs of the construction industry.
